Across four mixed-level sessions on Pure Bal, Bal-Swing, Slow Balboa, and ‘Transitioning & Mixing It Up’ – 8 hours of classes in total – you’ll have the chance to learn directly from dancers who shape the global Balboa scene.
The workshop also entails a party Friday, September 19, with a taster by Katti & Johan Widerdal and featuring Flying Jazzman Sextet – and a cosy Sunday Tea Dance with live music by Jeppe Zacho Trio.
All Balboa Copenhagen welcomes Balboa dancers of almost all levels. To get the most out of it, you should feel comfortable with Balboa basics across all tempos – slow to fast – such as the Balboa basic steps, Come Around, Throw Out, and Out & Ins.
