Balboa på Globen : Every second Friday of the month, from 19.00 to 23.00/23.30, Café Globen transforms into a lively dance floor for ‘Balboa på Globen’. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious about Balboa, everyone is welcome to join the fun!
Saturday Shuffle : From time to time, we also host the ‘Saturday Shuffle’ – a special Saturday night social dance event at Café Globen, running from 19.00 to 23.00/23.30. Follow us on Facebook to be posted of upcoming dates!
What to expect:
Almost all social dance evenings are kicked off with a Balboa class from 19.00 to 20.00 – and after this you can enjoy hours of dancing to DJ music, mingle with fellow dancers, join in on fun activities or take a break in the bar while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
We offer two types of Balboa classes:
- Learn the Moves (19.00-20.00): This class is for everyone curious about Balboa – no partner or previous dance experience needed! Join to learn the basic steps and movements in a friendly, no-pressure setting.
- Taster Classes (19.00-20.00): Dive deeper with themed taster classes focusing on specific Balboa techniques and styles. This class is suitable for dancers already familiar with the Balboa basics – check out the level description for each specific Taster Class.

Entrance & Membership
Some events may have a small entrance fee, but MoB members usually enjoy free entry. Not a member yet? Join us and become part of Copenhagen’s Balboa community – it’s just 100 DKK / year.
