In this round R2, which starts in week 10, we once again have 8 weeks of classes with a break during easter holidays.

Monday:

Class: Peer learning and practice for experienced Balboa dancers

Single session price: 100,- for a couple – and you have to show up as a couple (pay at venue).

Details: Each session we will work in depth with refining our techniques in a couple of specific moves selected by participants. Facilitators will also bring prepared suggestion to get the session started.

Thursday:

Beginners Balboa:

Class: You’ll learn the basics of Balboa, how to follow or lead in Balboa, keeping your pulse in rhythm both the music and your partner. You’ll also learn the Toss-out which is both the signature figure for Balboa but also the basic of more advanced patterns in the future. We will adapt material to participants – even with multiple adaptations at the same time, ensuring that you’ll be optimally challenged for learning Balboa. This class aims at making you eligible for participating Copenhagen Balboa Weekend

Payments

Payment must be made within 3 days of receiving acceptance email and payment instructions to secure your registration. If we don’t receive your full payment in due time your reserved spot may be given to another person.
Please take care of all transfer costs and conversion cost if paying via bank transfer.
Unfortunately we cannot refund your purchased class pass for any reason, but you may transfer your class pass to someone else with the same dance role (leader or follower). If you do so, let us know by email to whom you sold your class pass so we can update the registration.

Liability

All participants are attending the event at their own risk
The Ministry of Balboa do not assume any liability or responsibility for incidents and/or injuries and loss or damage of any personal belongings during the classes or socials.
All classes must have at least a minimum of 4 couples registered to be guaranteed.

Level descriptions

The Peer class is for dancers to whom most of the following applies: you have danced at our highest level (old level 3) before; you practice balboa outside of class; you dance balboa socially on a regular basis; you travel to international workshops; you are no stranger to solo balboa. To keep the skill level high, applicants will have to be approved before being accepted.

Slow Balboa is a slower version of Balboa. It is dance to music below 100 BPM, with slightly different footwork rhythm, but most of the figures and movement are identical. The Slow Balboa class is currently a mixed level where you’ll bee working on rhythm, figures and combinations which are appropriate for you.
